Skillet Apple Cider Chicken

  1. Season chicken thighs with Papa Joe’s Salt 
  2. Sauté chicken in a skillet with olive oil until browned. Set aside. 
  3. Sauté onion until soft and then add 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of apple cider. Cool for 10 min until liquid is reduced by half 
  4. Add apple slices (2 apples), 4 Sage leaves and 2 sprigs of Thyme. Simmer about 2 min. 
  5. Add another cup of broth and another cup of apple cider. 
  6.  Return chicken to the pan and turn heat to medium. Cool for about 15 minutes until chicken is no longer pink in the center. 
  7. Optional: remove chicken from the skillet and add a couple tablespoons of butter to sauce. 
  8.  Pour mixture over chicken with your favorite pasta. Season lightly with Papa Joes! Enjoy!
